A Houston favorite and a great way to kick-start the Summer, the Houston Heights Association's 31st Annual Heights Fun Run, will be held on Saturday, June 4.
This fast out-and-back 5K course runs along the beautiful, scenic and historic Heights Boulevard. The race starts and ends at Marmion Park and includes a 5K Fun Run, a 5K Walk and a Kids 1K (untimed) race.

The fee for the Fun Run and Walk is $25 until May 31 and $30 June 1 and after. The Kids 1K is $15 until May 31 and $20 on June 1 and after. Credit cards are accepted.

Luke's Locker at 1953 West Gray, on June 2 and June 3, from 10:00 a.m to 7:00 p.m.. You can also pick up packets at Marmion Park, 18th Street and Heights Boulevard, from 6:15 to 7:15 a.m. on Race Day.
The 5K course is certified by the USA Track and Field and the Gulf Coast Association USA Track and Field with disposable Chip Timing will be conducted by Run Wild Sports Timing. Each entrant receives a 100% cotton commemorative t-shirt. The 5K Fun Run starts at 7:30 a.m., the 5K Walk starts at 7:35 a.m., and the Kids 1K starts at 8:30 a.m. Each child participating in the 1K receives an award!

9:00 am Awards Ceremony
Featuring live entertainment, door prizes and post-race refreshments will begin at 8 a.m. at Marmion Park, with the awards ceremony at 9 a.m.
Awards will be presented to the top 3 male and female finishers in the following groups:
Under 14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-75, 75+
All Kids 1K participants receive an award.
Medical aid facilities at the start and finish and mobile aid along the 5K course.
Insurance restrictions prohibit pets, strollers, baby joggers, and skaters.
