Heights Bicycle Rally & Scavenger Hunt
A
HUGE SUCCESS!
The
weather couldn’t have been better for the 6th
Annual Heights Bicycle Rally & Scavenger Hunt held
on Sunday, October 2, 2011. 600 riders came out to
enjoy the event – our largest participation ever in
the history of the Rally!
Designed
as a casual self-paced ride, entrants chose either
the 20-mile course through the Heights and near-by
neighborhoods, or the shorter 5-mile ride designed
for kids and their adult companions. And a few did
both!
The
after party was humming with people celebrating
their ride and the delightful weather along with
music, delicious refreshments, and their chance to
win one of the wonderful door prizes.
None of
this would have been possible without the generous
support of our donors and sponsors. From door
prizes and rider packet coupons to the food and
beverages for the after party, we appreciate your
contributions that helped to make the Rally such a
success. See the November 2011 Newsletter for a
listing of all the contributors.
